New phrase - Uterine Slavery

I've been furious since THAT legal evasion of "rights should go back to the states to decide". So, since most of the state level laws are phrased much like the pre-Civil War slave fugitive laws, here's a way to define the current status of half the population:

Uterine slavery - When people born with a uterus or assumed to have a uterus are not given appropriate medical care because the potential products of their uterus are considered as more important than the treatment of any other medical issue. Said uterine products are ALSO subjected to said inappropriate medical care if they have a uterus. This holds said uterine bearing people in forced servitude to their menstrual cycle, even if their menstrual cycles haven't started, tubal ligations have been performed, menstrual cycles have ceased, or the uterus has been completely removed. Without hormonal medications, many people will be entrapped and exploited by their own medical conditions, like polycystic ovarian syndrome and pelvic inflammatory disease. These conditions can lead to temporary and permanent disabilities, and death. Other medical conditions may not be treated because the medications may interfere with uterine product development, even if the uterus has already been removed.

Penis having people are also trapped in this situation, because the only means of not contributing to uterine production left is no PIV or near vulva sexual activities, if they want the continued survival of any uterine having people in their own relationships. Any uterine production risks the disability and death of the uterine bearing person. Other uterine slaves often believe that their own privilege will never extend to having their own lives threatened or taken because of a fault in the uterine production.

This is not a new concept. It is a subset of "reproductive slavery" which has been around for a long time. You can look up earlier discussions in places like war rape camps, brood and stud slaves from antebellum South, and of course the women's suffrage movement. Nobody should be forced to reproduce against their will, with an unwanted mate, at an undesired time, etc. -- regardless of what bioequipment they have.

Also, the "pro-life" crowd is extremely vulnerable to attacks on their fallacy, because almost none of them actually value life. They just have a fetus fetish. If they valued life, they would be for things like universal health care, guaranteed food and housing, and other things necessary for survival; and against things like war, climate change, police violence, the death penalty, and other things that threaten life. Specifically, they wouldn't value a nonviable fetus over a viable carrier. Kick that out into the public air and they go apeshit.

Feel free to prompt me for such topics. Terramagne went through some pretty brutal arguments, and came out with ironclad reproductive protections for everyone ... largely because in that setting, men can get pregnant or be cloned against their will.
