Answering this poem
I'm adding links and information here for my Israeli soldier's answer, a Psalm of grief and mourning, to the actions here: https://ysabetwordsmith.dreamwidth.org/10811898.html?view=31688442&posted=1#cmt31688442

I'm using this post to collect my references on style and Jewish ideas, while I hand write the poem. That's not forbidden work on Shabbat for me. :-)
I'm also using Chabad sources because they're very good within the Ba'al Teshuvah movement and therefore I thought a pretty good reference for an American Reform family that made aliyah.
The Modern Israeli movement doesn't have enough in English and Hebrew for me to use with my anesthesia brain fog right now. I thought that MY current condition actually would correlate well to the shock of an Modern Israeli soldier who was healed by Alicia under these circumstances. Survivor guilt still applies.
